Over at the village hall, for our first event of our Sports Relief day, we did a whole-school aerobics session. Kailey, Jill, Molly and Struan took charge and showed everyone the different movements from the stage, and controlled some music.

Comments:

Louie said “It was fun and energetic!”

Jill said “It was really strange being on stage!”

Ms. Martin said “It was very good improvisation by the co-ordinaters!”

Basketball and Football festival

On Thursday, Primary 5/6/7 went to Meadowmill Sport Centre to play in a basketball and football festival for small school in East Lothian. The pupils were split into groups, the boys played football first and the girls played basketball then we changed round. Everyone had fun and made new friends. We were exhausted at the end of it all!

Volleyball

volleyball_clipart_4.gif   On Monday Miss Flemming came in to do volleyball with the primary 5 & 7. When we got over to the village hall we all had a game of sitting volleyball. You could sit in three different ways legs crossed legs out and last one legs squint. The aim of the game was to hit the ball to your partners and make sure it didn’t roll away. The worst part was when if you hit the ball too hard the ball would roll all the way over to the other side of the hall you had to bum shuffle to where the ball rolled to. Then we played little games. Miss Flemming was a very good teacher at teaching volleyball.
