Consultation: Parental Engagement Strategy

27 03 2023

The Parental Engagement Strategy was launched in 2017 and aims to ensure that all Parents/Carers are encouraged and supported to engage as partners in their children’s learning, and to become involved in the life of the school.  The strategy also ensures that it can continue to build on good practice and create further opportunities for our parents and schools to work together.

There are 6 strands to the strategy and we are seeking responses to evaluate the impact of each of them.

🌈HT Welcome Back: Parent/carer Handbook 🌳

9 08 2020

Dear parents and carers

This booklet is being shared to support the smooth transition back to our school building from the 12th of August 2020. We know that you will have many questions about what this will look like and I hope that this document will provide you with answers to these questions.

These arrangements will only be in place for as long as is required and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. Where we discover that something is not quite working, we will find a solution and communicate that with our children and with you.

Kindest regards

Pauline McKay

Making The Difference-A New Law to Support Parents

We are off to a great start!

26 08 2016

startThis first full week of learning has been very positive. Lots of learning in numeracy, literacy and health and wellbeing already!  Classes are also busy working on their charters -some classes have  even looked at the values linked to the Olympic games. Children have been prepared for our Drop Everything and Read challenge and a few classes have gone to visit the Book Festival.  Displays are beginning to appear that encourage us to have a Growth Mindset and today’s assembly launched the beginning of the campaign to elect our new Pupil Council Representatives. A busy week . . .

Welcome to the new session 2016
