We are recruiting for apprentices to join our Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician
training programme. During your apprenticeship, you will be looking to make an impact – using
your skills, knowledge and passion to achieve great things. So how about taking on the challenge of
beating climate change?
During the four-year programme, you will develop specialist skills to work in either the Mechanical
and Heavy Electrical team, or the Light Electrical and Control & Instrumentation team. As well as
technical skills, we will also help you develop the attitudes and behaviours essential to the safe
operation of our power stations. Upon completion, you will be awarded a Maintenance and
Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Certificate; you will also have attained a
BTEC Level 3, with the potential for further education such as a HNC.
