Scottish Power Learning Technical Skillseeker Programme is now closed until May 2008. They have a new Skillseeker website www.ourdoorisalwaysopen.com which gives detailed information on the programme, should anyone still be interested in applying for the next intake.
Kay Engineering, Unit 3, Macmerry Industrial Estate, Tel: 01875 616190 are going to recruit an apprentice and will be advertising in local paper (probably EL News) but would also appreciate it if school CAs/guidance staff could refer any suitable pupils/leavers they identify as being interested.

The company is small – 4 employees – but has a lot of business. It’s not easy to find – it’s situated to the left of Hart Builders up through two sets of double gates and is on the right-hand side in a huge shed.
