There is going to be an event organised by Television & Young People at BBC Scotland, Pacific Quay, Glasgow on Saturday 17th November. It is free and aimed at people with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in television. It will consist of workshops covering a range of skills, e.g. production, scriptwriting and research, run by industry professionals. There will also be a career surgery where the yp can get one-to-one advice.
The event has up to 40 places available and interested yp can apply online on www.tvyp.co.uk The closing date is 29th October.
