World Book Day is next Thursday 4th  March and the theme for this year is “share a story”.  We at Cockenzie Primary School, always enjoy the opportunity to celebrate the enjoyment of reading as part of World Book Day.

An email was sent to parents/carers yesterday providing details of our planned activities, including our whole school/ nursery challenge.

Attached to the email is a £1 virtual book token which can be exchanged for one of a range of new £1 books (see the full line-up at worldbookday.com/books) or it can be used to get £1 off any book or audiobook costing £2.99 or more in participating bookshops and supermarkets. The book token is valid from Thursday 18 February – Sunday 28 March 2021.
