You can make a donation if you want to.

In the morning there will be lots of fun sporty activities and games to enjoy the morning.

Thank you.

Earth Day

We will be celebrating Earth Day on Friday the 23rd of March. For Earth Day we would like to try and be more environmentally friendly. We will be having a no power hour by turning off all lights in the school, we realised this would make the school quite dark, so to solve  this we decided to let you wear brightly coloured sports clothing  as this will tie in nicely with Sports Relief. We will also be having an ECO assembly held by the Eco action team. This will be from 9:00 in the assembly hall.

Wild About Scotland

Yesterday we had Wild About Scotland in with us. We really enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot about the Wild Animals of Scotland and how animals become endangered across the world. They brought some really cool artifacts in with them that we got to hold!

“I thought the workshops were really fun because I got to learn about animals. I love learning about animals” – Charlie H, P5B

“I enjoyed what animals in Scotland went extinct, like the Lynx, Brown Bear and a Wolf” – Logan, P5B

“I really enjoyed finding out about new animals, I really liked how we got to touch different artifacts like a snake skin, a squirrel hide, beaver hide and a fox skin!” – Eilidh P5B

Have a look at some of the pictures we took to show our learning…

P5B Co-op Adverts

When Matthew Howie the manager of the Co-op heard about the adverts we had made he wanted us to let him use them for the Co-op’s open day in April.

We were so excited that we decided to make five new adverts just about the Co-op. On a Monday we made posters to be displayed in the shop. On the Tuesday we wrote our scripts and rehearsed our lines and then on Wednesday we filmed all five adverts in one day.

Quiet Garden Clean-Up

Today was cleaning day in the Quiet Garden. The Outdoor Learning Action Team, the Gardening Action Team, parent volunteers and Mrs MacKinnon were all doing their bit to make the garden a lovely place for us to socialise, enjoy the sun and have lunch.

WELL DONE EVERYONE! 🙂
