Happy Holidays!!
A new venture for Chalmers Memorial Church
CAMEO (come and meet each other) is a new venture for Chalmers Memorial Church, a drop-in coffee time every Thursday afternoon between 2 and 4pm. We’ll be using the lower level meeting room which has comfy seating and a coffee bar where we are offering free teas, coffee and light refreshments. It’s open for all ages and might be of interest to parents and carers collecting their children from Cockenzie Primary School (a coffee before the children are collected or a coffee and juice once they have been collected!)… The entrance to the room is via the side door entrance to our Church Hall which is on Osborne Terrace – just a short distance from the school itself. We’d be delighted to see you there…

Volunteering with Active Schools
Could you help us bring more sport and activity to Prestonpans, Longniddry, Cockenzie & Port Seton?
Active Schools are always looking for volunteers to help us develop our Active Schools Activity Programme and provide more opportunities in the local community for children and young people to take part in sport and physical activity.
All levels of experience are welcome and we can offer training, support and resources as needed. If you have any questions or are interested in learning more about volunteering with Active Schools and the support we can offer, please email me at ssands@elcschool.org.uk.
