Active Schools is responsible for running a number of activity clubs offered to your child in the local area. We would like your views on a variety of activities that your child could participate in, so that we can focus on activities that parents would like their child participating in.
The survey should take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete.
Responses to this survey can remain anonymous.
Results of this survey will be published on the school website as well as the Active East Lothian website.
East Lothian schools are being given a 6th In-service day on Wednesday 20th August 2014. This means ALL children in P1-7 will start school on Thursday 21st August. P2-7 will start at 8.45am as usual. Our new P1s will start at 9.30am and their timetable will run as planned already, apart from not being in on the Wednesday. We apologise for any inconvenience. The extra In-service day is to give teachers more time to develop the Curriculum for Excellence.
Please click here to view the presentation following the information meeting held on Wednesday 18th June for the proposed trip to Barga for the P7 pupils (2014/15) next year.
If you require further details, please contact Gail Corr, Depute Headteacher.
The children all enjoyed watching the Queen’s Baton Relay yesterday as it made its way through Cockenzie and Port Seton. Once again, we had a lovely sunny morning and it was lovely to see all the children line the streets to support the baton carriers.
We were lucky to get such a sunny day on Monday 16th June for our Sport’s Day and the children did us all very proud entering into the spirit of the day.
Many thanks to all of you for coming along and supporting the children and to those who helped make this year’s sports day such a success.
Got a suggestion …
As always, we continually look for comments from parents and carers and would be grateful if you could complete and return the Sports Day Feedback form with any feedback or suggestions for Sports Day 2015.
