Harvest Festival

Primary 4 are busy preparing our Harvest Festival.

They would be very grateful to receive donations of tinned, non-perishable goods such as soup, stew, baked beans or dried pasta. As a school, we will be donating all items to East Lothian Foodbank and East Lothian Women’s Aid.

Any donations can be sent in with your child up until Friday 13th October.

Preston Lodge Learning Festival 2017

We are really pleased to announce that Jonathan Lear will be the keynote speaker at Preston Lodge High School’s 2017 Learning Festival on 28 October.  From the Independent Thinking website: “Jonathan is absolutely phenomenal. Simply the best speaker I have heard in my life.  Mind Blowing” Jonathan is absolutely phenomenal, simply the best speaker I have ever heard in my career. absolutely phenomenal, simply the best speaker I have ever hear

As well as Jonathan, we are, once again, offering a fantastic range of collaborative, dialogue-based professional learning conversations for teachers to explore, share and develop their pedagogy. We will have a full range of primary and secondary inputs and, for the first time, we’re opening up our Learning Festival to parents and carers interested in finding out how they could further support young people in their learning.

It’s free, too!
