It’s pancake day today! This week we will be focusing on numeracy and mathematics and I can’t think of a better activity than baking to start us off! Baking involves counting, weighing/measuring and quite often timing. Who would like to make some pancakes with their grown-ups? Here’s a super simple pancake recipe. I can confirm, these pancakes were delicious!
What you’ll need:
Method:
- Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients in a large bowl. I used a whisk but you could use a fork if you don’t have one.
- Heat a pan and add some of your pancake batter to the pan. (You will need a grown-up’s help!)
- Flip.
- Enjoy!
This recipe makes around 10 pancakes. Here’s a video of me making mine!
