Christmas Cards *Updated*

This week the children have been busy designing their very own Christmas card. At either pick up today or drop off tomorrow you will be given the opportunity to have a look at your child’s design and collect an order form.

Should you wish to order any packs of cards or any of the other items available, please complete your child’s order form then order and pay online using the codes on the form. Once this has been done return the form to nursery and we will attach your child’s design to the form.

Closing date is Friday 15th October 2021

Dinosaurs and Volcanoes

The children in the yellow, blue and orange groups have been showing lots of interest in dinosaurs…. We extended this area of interest by setting up a sensory dinosaur area and then we made dinosaur bones out of salt dough.

We had lots of archaeologists in the nursery today exploring our dinosaur bones using tweezers, brushes and magnifying glasses!

The red and purple groups have been exploring volcanoes. They have been busy making a giant volcano for their room ready for their special science experiment!

All the children have been enjoying the sensory dinosaur tray that was set up in the garden to bring their interests outdoors!

Welcome Back Everyone

Please bear with us while we collect photo permission forms from everyone. This needs to be done before we can start posting pictures of the fantastic learning which is already taking place in the nursery.

Please be assured that all of the children, both new starts and returning children, have settled extremely well into nursery. They are enjoying getting to know each other and spending time altogether in the garden, now that it is now longer divided.

As you can imagine this is an extremely busy period for the nursery team but we are aiming to contact all families individually to let you know how your child is has settled.

This will consist of a quick telephone call, beginning with the children who have joined us for the first time in August. Followed by calls to the parents and carers of our returning children.
