Rugbytots is a children’s play programme for boys and girls from age 2 to 7.
We would be happy to offer parents a free trial at one of our classes. This would be subject to the class having spaces available.
Our classes are full of fun and are structured play sessions to take children on a journey of sporting imagination with engaging and energetic coaches supporting them every step of the way building on their motor skills, agility and balance and teaching them how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team. Our classes are £7.75 per class and are booked in 6 or 7 week terms.

For some time now, I have been very keen on the children at Cockenzie Primary School and Nursery involved in growing their own food. We have fantastic resources in the Outdoor Classroom, poly tunnel and raised beds in the garden.
Covid -19 has delayed plans to start utilising these resources but with mitigations lessened and spring in the air, I have been involved with members of the community regarding involving the children in planting and growing.
So, I am sending out a plea for donations for seeds, propagator and any spare bags of compost that you may have – lettuce, radish, spring onion, beetroot, peas, French beans, carrots, courgettes, onion, shallots, pumpkin, tomato, peppers, cucumber, leeks, cabbage .
Perhaps grandparents, other family members have some seeds too so please share this with them too. Any donations can be dropped in the garden donation box in the foyer or your child could bring in any donations and give to their teacher.
We hope that this will be the start of a flourishing garden where we grow lots of different food to eat.
Thank you
Ms B
