INTER-AGENCY CHILD PROTECTION RISK ASSESSMENT & PROCESSES

You must have access to M Teams as a paying member or guest.
This training is aimed at multi-agency operational staff and managers who are in regular contact or carry out direct work with children / young people and / or their parents / carers and who have an organisational duty to learn more about child protection. There is an expectation that professionals who have face to face contact with families complete this training every 5 years. Applicants must have previously completed Level 1 Child Protection Awareness Raising and Response training.
This training will be provided on line using MS Teams and to undertake the training you will need to be able to access MS Teams as a paying member or Guest.
Our initial delivery will be for a maximum of 20 participants and cases will be allocated to ensure a spread of specialism’s across the authority. Please discuss your wish to access this course with your manager prior to enrolling.
- To understand the national and local context for child protection.
- To describe the roles of agencies involved in child protection.
- To know the key processes and procedures.
- To explain concepts of risk assessment planning.
