Join us for our last webinar of 2020! This time we will be exploring ways of continuing to ensure that we offer high quality learning and teaching in early years and primary school settings during the pandemic.
The webinar will take place on Monday 7 December 2020 from 3.30 to 5.30pm
We will explore and explain how it is possible to remain focused on the central part of our jobs: to facilitate and promote high quality learning experiences for children.
The session will be practical in nature and offer clear examples of how to make the most of what are difficult circumstances to deliver learning and teaching that makes a difference to children’s lives.
It will start with a focus on the current situation and what this means for learning and teaching and for the hard-pressed practitioner.
We will then look at three different settings in three different local authority areas, hearing from professionals who are seeking to do what we all want: to do their very best for the children in front of them.
By the end of the session, whether you are based in an early years centre, nursery class or a primary school, our aim is that you will feel positive, more confident and better equipped to provide high quality learning experiences for the children you teach, irrespective of the challenges we all face currently.
The focus is on early years and primary education and the session is thus aimed at everyone who works in settings with young children.
The webinar should be both interesting and helpful for:
• Early years practitioners
• Primary teachers
• Leaders in early years and primary
We feel that the nature of the session lends itself to groups of staff, or indeed whole-staff groups, attending the session and then using the learning for future career-long professional learning sessions, for example, at the start of next term.
If you book a place on the webinar, a recording will also be made available after the session if schools wish to watch and reflect on the session again to use it with different groups of staff at a later date.
The cost is £25 per booking.
Please note that we can only accept card payment
We would like as many people as possible to benefit from this webinar and would be happy to take one booking per school. Where possible the session could be displayed on a single screen and shared with several or all staff. Of course we would accept several bookings per schools too if it is more convenient.
