 Communities of practice overview:

Communities of practice are groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly. It is via the process of sharing information and experiences within the group that the members learn from each other, and have an opportunity to develop their own knowledge and skills.

The early learning and childcare team will facilitate regular opportunities for everyone involved in early years to come together to share, learn, self-improve, self-reflect and encourage one another and talk about early years’ pedagogy. The communities of practice will be introduced in each cluster on the dates above.

If you are hoping to attend please email the relevant member of the support team as noted above.  We will advise the remaining venues as soon as possible.

Communities of practice facilitators:

Louise Juhl and Wendy Hardie: Support Teachers – Early Learning and Childcare

Mary Preston: Education Support Officer – Early Years
