This course is designed for individuals in both primary and secondary sectors to give an understanding of the key concepts and strategies for leading and managing the processes of learning, teaching and assessment within a department/faculty.

Returning to Teaching Blended Online Course

Please help us spread the word to those who may want to return to teaching! This is a blended online course aimed at teachers who have been out of the profession for a while or have graduated abroad and would like to get back into a teaching job in Scotland. Our next course begins in January 2020.

Children Inclusive Digital Technology Online Course

This blended online learning course benefits participants with practical, face-to-face workshops as well as online teaching and learning that help participants learn about the developments and arguments surrounding inclusive technology and pedagogy. If needed, all sessions can be accessed online if you cannot travel to Edinburgh.

In conversation with Pat Wharton and Delia Binney: in dialogue with Reggio Emilia - Fri 6 Mar

Reggio Emilia is a small municipality in Northern Italy whose philosophy and thinking and practice in relation to the education of young children 0-6 is renowned the world over for its commitments to the rights of children and listening to their opinions and views is intrinsic to their thinking and practice. The pedagogy underpinning the approach will be key to this encounter. Pat Wharton and Delia Binney are early years consultants who bring a wide range of expertise and they will lead the discussions at this event.
