Last year, we held East Lothian’s first ever TeachMeet and had a fantastic evening. This year, we’ve teamed up with the Scottish Book Trust to hold a TeachMeet for the Lothians & Borders in Edinburgh in June.
What is TeachMeet?
Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused. This is an informal gathering of those curious about creative approaches to teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they’ve trialled in their classrooms, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in learning conversations.
What will be happening?
Teachers will be signing up to present for two or seven minutes, or to lead a learning conversation. Anyone can sign up to do this, so you could be one of them? Everyone else can sign up to attend, listen and discuss.
When is this happening?
This TeachMeet is taking place from 6.30pm to 9pm on Tuesday 7th June 2011.
Where is this TeachMeet?
