Mr Cain’s P6 class at Pencaitland Primary School have been learning about Air Resistance. Not only that, but they have been photographing, filming and blogging about their learning!
The ASE are running a series of meetings for Primary teachers entitled: “Relevant, Inspiring, Engaging”. The days will include workshops from experienced teachers and CPD providers and an exhibition of resources to support primary teaching.
The closest one for East Lothian teachers will be in Lauder on Saturday 31st October and costs £20 or £12 for ASE members/students/probationers.

Somehow, the above document had passed me by. It didn’t make it into the big folder but has been uploaded to the website. I heard about it yesterday at the Scottish Science Advisory Group meeting when a representative from LTS was highlighting its existence.
The LTS website says the following about this document:
It describes progression in the development of knowledge and understanding of some of the scientific concepts which are contained within the experiences and outcomes as children and young people learn within a level and then move on to the next.
Sharing and supporting steps made by East Lothian learners, parents and teachers.
