P7 have had a very busy week with lots of exciting activities.
We have been busy preparing our products for the December Lunch Hub and the Christmas Fair as part of our Food for Thought Project.
We have made mulled spice jars to enjoy with a drink of your choice and have been busy making labels for our Chutney and Jelly jars.
P7 were happy to see so many parents attend our Curriculum Showcase on Wednesday afternoon. We enjoyed sharing our learning about the Victorians, 3D shape, Science and Food for Thought so thank you for joining us.
We had a very busy day yesterday with two exciting events.
During the day we visited Edinburgh College alongside other cluster P7 schools to take part in the STEM Inspiration Experience. We had the opportunity to make bridges, learn about electricity and make parachutes for eggs which we dropped from two flights of stairs! In the afternoon, we all built our own rocket cars and raced them!
In the evening, the P7 Ceilidh at NBHS was a success. All the children looked fabulous and danced the night away . Unfortunately, due to the non-stop dancing with all their future S1 peers, we were unable to get any photographs! However, I am sure they will let you know they had a fantastic time. 🙂
