Health Week was jam packed with numerous learning opportunities… activities ranged from counting bees to balancing beams to eating greens and everything in between!
Louisa P3 ‘I really liked gymnastics because I learnt some new moves I have never done before.’
Daniel P4 ‘I enjoyed disc golf because I liked the competitive throwing games.’
Robbie P3 ‘I loved the cricket because I enjoyed being a fielder and trying to catch my friends out!’
Craig P4 ‘My best moment was playing football rounders’ because it was a mix of skills from two sports’.
Tyler P3‘I love aerobics and I want to do it for the rest of my life!’
Kitty P3 ‘I counted 25 bumble Bees there were different colours some had white bums and others had orange bums!’
We made clay animals, it was fun and we painted them and gave them habitats out of paper and we decorated them. Before that we went outside to draw a picture of what we could see.
A huge thanks go to Martyn Pegg and Keith Christie from Outdoor Education.
Excellent well organised day, Martyn! A great big thanks also go to all the lovely parent helpers, who gave up their precious time to make our day run so well. A special thanks to Super-Mum, Sam and Super-Dad, Tony who did a wonderful job with the Bikeability activities. Well done all the other Super-Mums, some of whom even took part and were highly competitive, you know who you are, Annabel and Susan! Well done everyone, a great team effort produced a very rewarding day!
