This week we have been learning about the seasons and in groups we made a seasons wheel.
We cut out pictures from magazines we thought related to seasons. We also drew our own pictures to show our understanding of what types of things we can find during different seasons, for example pictures of Autumn trees and Spring flowers.
We also wrote a little bit about each season.
To make a successful seasons wheel we knew we had to include a clear title, some pictures and some writing.
‘I enjoyed cutting out and colouring in’ – Tam.
‘I think I worked well with my group because we all joined in’ – Emma.
‘I enjoyed writing on the poster most’ – Eleanor.
‘I liked looking for pictures and cutting them out’ – Ava M
This morning we have been raising money for Children in Need. As you can see we’ve all dressed up in spots! Don’t we look great?
The P6/7 class have had a wonderful coffee morning with lots of delicious cakes donated by some very talented bakers (our families and friends). We’ve had our faces painted, guessed the sweeties in the jar and also guessed the birthday of Pudsey’s cousin.
We don’t know how much we’ve raised yet because it has not been counted but we think it’s a lot!
Well done every body and have a great rest of day!
As well learning more of our dance for our Christmas Party, today in gym we were learning how to balance on different parts of our bodies.
Whilst we were doing this we had to describe how we were travelling and also on which parts of our bodies we were balancing when we stopped.
‘I travelled over a bench with my hands and balanced with one foot leaning against the underside of the bench’ – Tyler.
‘I travelled by jumping and balanced on one hand and one foot’ – Imogen.
‘I jumped over benches and balanced on one foot and one hand’ – Tam.
