P 3/4 Learning Log Blog 16.06.17

Tam (P3) ‘I enjoyed the imaginative writing because it was fun starting to type up my giant story on the computer.’ Literacy

John (P3) ‘I enjoyed Lorraine coming in to do a talk about healthy snacks. She told us that there are treats that look bad but they are actually really good for you! Health & Wellbeing

Tam (P3) ‘I loved sports day because we got to do lots of different activities. My favourite one was the long distance race. I came 3rd! Ruthven won the overall sports day!’ Health & Wellbeing

Gemma (P4) ‘I liked doing Pilates because it was so relaxing that I nearly fell asleep!’ Health & Wellbeing

Ryan (P4) ‘We all liked doing Taekwondo when we had to run up to kick the pads because it took perseverance.’ Health & Wellbeing

Eleanor (P4) ‘I loved ‘Bike-ability’ because it was the first time P4’s did this in school. We learnt how to use and check our breaks, dodge obstacles and wave at our teacher whilst still riding! Health & Wellbeing

P 3/4 Learning Log Blog 02.06.17

Ava m (P3) ‘I really loved going in front of the whole school to say my ‘Brownie Promise’. It made me feel amazing but I was a bit nervous!’ Literacy

Zidane (P4) ‘I really liked going down to the village green to practice for sports day. My favourite part was the relay races. Health & Wellbeing

 Tam (P3) ‘I liked learning about weight this week because it our new subject in maths, hopefully we will be able to weigh ourselves in the future!’ Numeracy

Unfortunately there has been some vandalism to the beautiful trees in our local woodland… sad times!
The woodland smells strong of wild garlic at the moment.

Ryan (P4) ‘I loved going to the woods because everything had got bigger and grown. Some plants were bigger than me!’ Science

John (P3) ‘When we went to the orchard I enjoyed looking for the different flowers because I learnt how to identify them.’ Science

P 3/4 Learning log Blog 26.05.17

Tom (P4) ‘I loved maths because we were finishing our measurement booklets and we got to measure with metre tapes when we were measuring our bodies. I thought it was lots of fun.’ Numeracy

Tyler (P4) ‘I really liked PE because we played two games of endless tennis which is when you bat back and forward with the other team like a relay.’ Health & Wellbeing

Ava M (P3) ‘I liked playing the maths carousel games because I don’t play them often and it was a nice treat.’ Numeracy

We found sticks and attached objects we found in the woodlands to them with pieces of wool to make ‘Journey Sticks’.

Zidane (P4) ‘I liked learning outside because we did our woodland logbooks. We took our time, we didn’t rush, it was like an art activity. It was really calming.’ Science & Art

Hamish (P3) ‘I enjoyed going to the woods because we are focussing on woodlands which is our topic. It was colourful, there were buttercups everywhere and it was quiet with birds singing.’ Health & Wellbeing and Science
