On Monday Buddy Bear flew in to help us to develop friendships, well-being and our learning powers. We dressed up as superheroes and brought in our favourite teddies. We took part in lots of different activities including meditation!
We have been learning about sound and created clucking cups.
How does it work?
Pulling the string makes it vibrate and these vibrations produce a faint sound. However in this case the cup and air around it also vibrate so the sound is amplified enough for us to hear it. A bigger amplitude equals a louder sound.
Ava (P4) “I really enjoyed science today. The clucking sounded really funny!”
We celebrated World Book Day a week late but had great fun.
Well done P3/4 for putting such a lot of effort into your costumes and the story boxes.
We have been working very hard on using VCOP in our stories.
