Hope everyone is keeping warm and safe during these snow days.
I’d love to see what you’ve been doing, take some photos and bring in to share with everyone.
Once you’ve had fun in the snow why not…..
- read a good book – ready to share for our belated World Book Day
- play a game on Topmarks to practise your maths/numeracy
- write a snow poem
- practise drawing winter trees (remember how we did the Autumn trees)
- do some research on the continents for our Fantastic Flying Journey
Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
A busy week for P3/4
Ava (P4) I enjoyed the football session we learned some new skills.
Lauchie (P3) Gymnastics was good this week. I enjoyed working with my partner on balance and control.
Tam (P4) I practised writing the time outside using chalk. It was fun..
We are also enjoying our ‘Fit in 15’ every day.
On Monday P3/4 visited Tranent Climbing Wall.
Hamish (P4) “I liked going to Tranent Climbing Wall because it was fun. I got to the top of the wall and played the castanets.”
Hannah (P4) “It was amazing and fun.”
Lauchie (P3) “I think I did very well climbing up to the middle of the wall.”
Duncan (P4) “Climbing the highest wall was fun but at the same time scary.”
Ava (P4) “I went to Tranent to go climbing it was very fun but the wall was very high.”
Before and after…
Tam (P3/4) ‘I really enjoyed planting today. I think the flowers make the playground look good.’
Thank you to Mr and Mrs Lowe for providing us with such lovely plants. They really have brought some colour to our playground.
