The freezing temperatures didn’t stop P1/2 from getting outside to enhance our learning on Time this week! We had great fun drawing analogue clocks on the ground and using our knowledge of digital time to place clock hands in the correct places.
Happy New Year, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a nice break with your families. Thank you so much for my lovely gifts, it really was very kind of you.
The children have come back to school settled and ready to learn, although tired now that we’re reaching the end of our first week back- these dark mornings don’t help!
The children have settled quickly back into a routine and lots of learning has taking place.
Christmas preparations have well and truly started in P1/2! You can see and feel the excitement building!
We are continuing to learn new sounds and maths skills for subtraction whilst nativity practice, practice ad more practice!
In PE, the children have begun a block of learning on Scottish Country Dancing.
Could I please ask that if your child is a narrator for the Christmas show, that they bring in a Christmas jumper and dark skirt of trousers in a named bag next week?
P1/2 have enjoyed another busy week with lots of learning. Thank you to those of you who made it in for our curriculum afternoon. The children and I really enjoyed having you in to see what we do. We’ve enjoyed sharing all our favourite books and will be continuing to do this over the next week.
