Important Information For p7 (new S1) Parents/Carers
Due to a technical issue, students were unable to top up their smartcards today. All p7 smartcards have been collected in and will be activated today, so students will be returning home with the money they brought in to school. The smartcards will be re-issued to students on Monday morning. During period 1 class on Monday, students will be able to top up their cards so need to bring the cash back into school with them.
Transport services have said that p7 students can travel on buses on Monday without their cards.
As a reminder, East Linton P7 students should travel on the 120 Eves Service. Mr Maxton will be at the East Linton Bus Stop on Monday morning to ensure students are getting on the correct bus.
Congratulations to our new Head Girl and Head Boy!
Well done to Georgie Cross and Thomas Leitch who were appointed Head Girl and Head Boy for the session 2019 to 2020.
It was a very thorough and intense process with a hustings, a group task, student and teacher vote and an interview.
Thanks to Hannah Dickson, Ben James Dorin, Mrs Slowther, Mr Offer and Mrs Hamilton for helping with the interview process.
Every single candidate impressed with their attitude and commitment to the school and made us incredibly proud of them.
Unsuccessful candidates are automatically entitled to go through to the Depute selection stage.
Well done to all concerned.
