Sports Awards’ Evening
On Tuesday 18 June we celebrated the sporting achievements of our students. The evening included musical and dance performances as well as an inspirational speech from former student Brad Robertson. Congratulations to all award winners and thank you to everyone involved.
New S1 Visit
We have had our new S1s visiting the school this week. They spent 2 days following their timetable and getting to know staff and meet new friends. We are really looking forward to welcoming our new S1s in August.

Duke of Edinburgh
Any student who missed Assembly on Wednesday 19 June and is interested in applying for the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award must see Miss Williams asap.
Medicines Held in School
As we are now nearing the end of the school year, any unused medication held in the office on behalf of students should be taken home.
If your child has medication in the office it should be collected by Thursday 27 June, any medicines left after this date will be destroyed.
Please note that this excludes allergy medication, Epi-pens and glucose etc. held on behalf of diabetic students. These items will be retained until their use by dates.
If your child still requires to have medication in school please complete the appropriate form from the links below and send it in at the start of the next term along with the medication:

- Request for school to issue long-term ‘as required’ prescribed medication

Alton Towers Trip
S4-6 Business Management and Travel and Tourism students should have received a letter this week about the Alton Towers trip on 10 October. Any student who wishes to attend should return their PC1 form, along with a deposit of £25, by Monday 24 June. Alton Towers Letter

Musical Instrument/Equipment Donation
The music department is looking for donations of unused/unwanted/unloved/broken musical equipment. Things such as guitars, keyboards, drums, amps, speakers, microphones, headphones, regardless of the shape they are in, will be gladly accepted. They will be put to good use as part of our music and music technology courses. So, if you have anything lying around that you think may be of use, please don’t hesitate to contact a member of the music department. Thank you.
S2 Activities Week – Parent and Carer Perspective
Each year we feel it is important to evaluate the S2 Activities Week experience with a view to potentially alter or amend future programmes. Therefore your feedback and comments are extremely valuable.
