Whole School Photograph
We have the whole school photograph on Thursday 5 September in the afternoon. Please can we ask students to wear full school uniform? A reminder of the school uniform policy can be read here: School Uniform Description 19-20
Next Tuesday, we will have a visit from the author Linda Newbery. She will speak to all S1 classes throughout the afternoon.
Copies of her book ‘Key to Flambards’ will be available for all students to buy for £7. These will be available in the social space at the end of the day.
A pack is going home with students over the next few days containing a PC1 and an Annual Data Check form which is required to be checked by parent/carers, updated as appropriate, signed and returned by Monday 9 September. Packs will contain photo permission forms, email consent forms and school closure forms if we do not hold a copy on file.
S1 packs contain Show My Homework, SchoolPay, locker forms and Home Economics information in addition.
If you have no email address, it is essential that you inform the school. Where this is the case, we will provide a printout of this weekly information update to students on a Monday morning in their registration folder. A printout is only available to families who do not have access to email. The weekly email information is automatically updated on our website.

Parents and Carers: can you help? A large number of DGS library books are overdue or missing. We would very much appreciate it if you would help find them (under beds is a common place to do so!) and hand them in either to the school office or at Dunbar or East Linton Library. Thank you!
