Dinner with David Attenborough
Last week Pam McIntosh, PT Pupil Support, and nine very lucky DGS students were invited to the Hunter Foundation Dinner with Sir David Attenborough! Thank you so much to Ros Lowrie and Patrick Burns who donated the table to the school and gave our students this fantastic opportunity. They all had an amazing evening!
This week DGS competed in the Giant Heptathlon at the Oriam (Scotland’s Sports Performance Centre). The team worked extremely hard and were a credit to the school. They placed 6th out of 10 schools on the day. This was a National event, therefore we were placed 6th in Scotland, and 1st in East Lothian.
Feedback from the course organisers:
“The Dunbar athletes were outstanding, their enthusiasm was great to see. But I have never seen a school support each other so well like that before. Proper team spirit”.
The team consisted of S6 Team Leader, Cameron Bullen, and the following pupils:
S1/2 Boys: Finlay Milne, Ebon Parkin, Corey Campbell, Aidan Page, Iain Curtis, Donald Bird, Oliver Coghlan
S1/2 Girls: Charlotte Hawthorn-Buchanan, Evie Smith, Faye Sutherland, Jessica Bullen, Lana Mulroy, Olivia Robbins, Roisin Napier
S2 Activities Week 2020
Please note if paying by instalments, that the next payment is now due.
