Close Contacts and Siblings
If a student has been identified as a close contact and has a negative PCR test result, then siblings can return to school once the school has been provided with a copy of the result.
Please forward the negative result, along with the student’s name and class, and sibling names (including primary pupils).
Please be aware that any close contacts must complete the full isolation period specified in the letter, even if the test result is negative.
SQA Appeals 2021
On Wednesday, the SQA announced a free appeals service, available directly to learners for the first time, covering this year’s National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher qualifications. Further information about this service and the appeals process is available from their website.

Next week we will assess the situation and be in touch with all s6 students and their parents and carers regarding leavers’ forms, how to obtain assessment marks and issuing of yearbooks and hoodies.
From Monday 31st May, until the timetable changes on 14th June, S4/5 students will remain in their current timetabled classes but will be able to start some preparatory work for their courses for next year via Google classroom.

Duke of Edinburgh Award
Application forms have been emailed to all S3 and S4 pupils this week.
S3 (going into S4) pupils can apply to do their Bronze award in S4. S4 (going into S5) pupils can apply to do their Gold award in S5 and S6.
We are able to take 14 pupils in each award. Applications are due to be submitted by noon on Friday 11th June. Any questions, pupils should get in touch with Mr Martin.
Reminder for all students to bring a water bottle to school.
Please can outstanding library books be handed in to the librarian or the school office.
