Teenage Booster and Meningitis ACWY Vaccinations
A reminder of the vaccination date on Thursday 3 February. S3/S4 and S5/S6 catch up students are advised to wear a loose fitting short-sleeved top. It is important that students leaving school this session have the vaccine here before leaving. We have blank consent forms that can be completed at school.
Hub and Bistro
Due to staff shortages the Hub will be closed for the next two weeks. This means that the Bistro will be very busy at break and lunch. We would therefore like to encourage students, where possible, to consider bringing packed lunches and snacks to school.
S4/5/6 Study Support
We have just 9 school weeks until our senior students go off on exam leave. We offer a vast array of lunchtime and after school study clubs which can really help students in this vital time, preparing for exams. However, students can often leave attending these to the last few weeks before study leave. We would like to urge students to make use of these for as long as possible in the run up to exams to gain maximum benefit. Details of all sessions which are offered can be found here: DGS Study Clubs Booklet – Google Docs
Edinburgh College Update
22/23 SCP courses open for application week commencing 31st January. Full time course open for application 1st February.

Senior Student Study Resources
This is a reminder that in addition to revision work and tasks on Google Classroom, additional work/learning can be accessed using Scholar UK, Achieve, E-sgoil and the National E-Learning offer Senior Phase (S4-S6). Furthermore, all students can now access recorded video lessons on @West_OS using their Glow login to support their learning and revision at home! (If they do not have their Glow Login details please ask them to email admin@dunbargrammar.elcschool.org.uk to request these from our admin team). Students can find West_OS in the Glow App Library where they will be able to add the tile to their personal Glow Launchpad. There are lots of quality assured video lessons available for all our students across a range of subjects. Students will find this a great resource to support their learning and revision on Glow @GlowScot. The SQA website also has a range of useful resources covering course content, past papers and marking schemes and well worth using
