The school’s policy on contacting staff is to encourage parents and carers to use the school’s central telephone number or email address in the first instance. Parents should state which member of staff they would like to contact and if possible give a brief reason for the call eg if a parent wishes to speak to a student’s guidance teacher they should simply state the name of the guidance teacher and give a brief reason for the call if this is appropriate. The office staff will then re-direct calls and emails to the appropriate member of staff, in the first instance to guidance and senior management team. If possible, please give a contact number or email address to enable a speedy response.

Most complaints can and should be resolved at school level. If you have cause for concern, the first person to approach will normally be the Headteacher. If parents/carers remain dissatisfied then the procedures in the leaflet Feedback should be followed.
