Happy Easter 2015
We have been using Easter to consolidate our learning on shapes in our numeracy hour.
Our students were given the following learning outcomes and just look at the amazing shapes they have made. Of course as it is Easter inside holds an Easter egg.
Learning Outcome: 1
- Use basic materials and your imagination to make shapes, recreate patterns and build your model. Your model must be able to hold your egg.
- Name common 2-D shapes describe their features; use them to make patterns, pictures and your model.
- Follow instructions involving position, direction and movement and use these to construct your model. Ask for assistance if required and you can use a protractor.
- Look and discuss how many angles your shape has, and see if you can work how what degree your angles are with help.
We think they did very well.
