Weekly Update 22 January

Coronavirus: resources for managing
anxiety and improving wellbeing

We know that many adults and children are feeling particularly anxious at the moment. The attached resource, produced in April 2020 last year, may be helpful for you and your children to look at.

At this time of uncertainty, disrupted routine and restricted freedom, it’s understandable to be feeling anxious. This toolkit includes resources for school staff, parents and carers and children to help manage anxiety and improve wellbeing during the coronavirus crisis. You will find practical activities such as mindful crafts, breathing exercises and other self-care ideas, informative videos, emotional expression worksheets and helpful strategies to address anxiety.

Survey

The link has been sent out for the Remote Learning Survey. Thank you to all of you who have filled this in already. The
feedback received so far is really useful and will help us to ensure that our digital learning offer across the school meets the
needs of staff, learners and parents. I will feedback the findings of the survey in a future update.

Google Classroom

We have had good engagement again this week so thank you for facilitating this at home. Please remember to contact us
through the school office if you are having any technical difficulties or difficulty understanding any of the tasks. If you are having any difficulties please contact us at 01368863773 or admin@dunbarprimary.elcschool.org.uk .
