This year the school fair took in £2,032.92

This is only marginally down on last year, by around £200. Which we expected given we didn’t have the bouncy castle man (who contributed over £1k to the takings last year).

Again I would like to thank everyone that was involved this year and who gave up their time to help and support. With events like this we never expect to please 100% of the time but I’m glad that people seemed to enjoy it and the money taken has been reflective of an extremely busy day.

Here’s to next year.

School Fair

Thank you to everyone who came along to the School Fair today. Thank you to everyone who helped out today and manned a stall or flipped a burger or judged the bake off. From my mad dashing around it seemed busy and hopefully everyone enjoyed the year group stalls as well as what we had on offer in the marquee. The dancing was exceptional and we had very positive feedback from the fidget spinner making that The Woodland Group set up.
Yes we scaled back this year, for various reasons, but ultimately this was a day about getting people together, to mingle and enjoy what the children and produced and have some cake and have a bargain. Hopefully we delivered on that.
So thanks for coming, and we’ll see you next year!
And thank you to the small but amazing team of parents who gave up their time today to help make the fair a success, it wouldn’t have happened without you.
