The parent council meets next Monday (April 1st) at Dunbar Primary School library, 7pm

Dog walkers – the parent council meeting on Mon April 1 will discuss a suggestion that a tethering zone is created at John Muir campus for parents walking dogs as well as children to school. A dog warden will be there to explain how this works and why it might be a good idea. Do come and share your thoughts. We meet in the John Muir campus library at 7pm.

The school improvement plan and funding priorities will also be up for discussion that night.

Thank you to all the volunteers, parents and shoppers who came to Elfridges

Thank you to all the volunteers, parents and shoppers who came to Elfridges today (Sat 8th December). Lots of unpaid hard work went the event and it’s fab people are happy to pitch-in, give it a go, make it happen. (Happy Santa icon here)
It was the first time the parent council organised this kind of event, and lots of people said they enjoyed it. It was about doing something for the school community and raising a bit of money – totals to be announced in due course.
Prize winners – who have not yet heard – will be notified on Monday.
The parent council will discuss all feedback about Elfridges at our first meeting on Monday January 14, John Muir Campus, School Library, 7pm. Comments are taken on board when planning future events.
