Well what a busy couple of weeks we have coming up in the Parent Council Calendar……this year the school are running to Lapland on December 3rd, the entire school will be running or walking laps in both campuses wearing bobble hats or Santa hats or just a bit of sparkle. John Muir Campus will have some festive music playing for them and they have all got the option of having themselves sponsored too. The miles they clock up will go towards the Run to Tokyo challenge and the funds raised towards the school wish list for improvements and extra facilities.
This is swiftly followed by the return of Elfridges on Saturday 7th, where children come with £1 to buy a gift from the selections on offer then have it wrapped by the elves. Lots of fun things to do as they wait for their gift to be wrapped at this festive Saturday morning event.
Whilst it seems so far off, our next event is a family Ceilidh on January 18th, some fun on the dance floor with local Ceilidh Musicians, food and drink available and a great way to blow away the January Blues!
Finally, the next meeting is on Tuesday 10th of December, why not join us to hear about school life, the future plans for events like the Ceilidh and the family quiz. It’s also heartwarming to speak to the teachers and hear what a difference it makes to them when we are able to fund equipment and resources.

This was invested in maths resources, support for bereaved pupils, building blocks, sports equipment, outdoor learning resources, training for new playground activities, artists to work with pupils, chrome tablets, books and more.
