It is a couple of weeks to go to the school fair. Last year was a fab day for all raising thousands for the school. Please pitch in and help the day go smoothly.

Thanks everyone who made Easter Monday fun possible. Fabulous team of volunteers, great support from local businesses, including BeGreen who helped fund the archery and Dunbar Fire Service who did a brilliant job helping with the egg drop survivor challenge. Thanks too to Muddy Buddies for their brilliant contribution and all those who came and joined in. Lovely, too, to have the Lauderdale Park cafe in action. There’s a couple of small expenses to take care of but it looks like we took more than £700. Great news for Dunbar Primary.
Could you bake to raise money for Dunbar Primary School? Looking for donations for the cake stall at Easter Monday Fun in Lauderdale Park. Bring to the park between 12noon and the finish at 3pm on Monday, or email helenschoen@hotmail.co.uk to arrange collection in advance.
Dog walkers – the parent council meeting on Mon April 1 will discuss a suggestion that a tethering zone is created at John Muir campus for parents walking dogs as well as children to school. A dog warden will be there to explain how this works and why it might be a good idea. Do come and share your thoughts. We meet in the John Muir campus library at 7pm.
The school improvement plan and funding priorities will also be up for discussion that night.
