Primary 2 had a great time doing PE today with our PE students! Nothing better than getting outside and having fun!
Primary 2 had great fun this morning using the directional language they’ve been learning to program our Beebots!
Inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk, Primary 2 have been testing what plants need to grow. On Friday our beans stalks were big enough to be planted up and taken home.
The Three Little Pigs emailed Primary 2 yesterday asking us to design a house for them. We used our STEM skills to work together to make houses that were strong (able to withstand the Big Bad Wolf) and waterproof (to deal with the horrible Scottish weather!)
Oh no! Marissa the Mermaid has lost some scales! Primary 2 wanted to help her make some new ones so we investigated which materials would be the most waterproof!
Inspired by Jack we are growing our very own beanstalks this week! Do they really need light and water to grow? Ask the Primary 2’s in a few weeks to find out!
P2 had great fun taking PE outside this week! Fingers crossed for more of the lovely weather!
As part of our whole school Health and Wellbeing focus Primary 2 have been discussing our feelings. We thought about how these feelings might look and used different colours and shapes to show our ideas.
Primary 2 spent this week putting to use all of their learning from this term to create a magnificent castle and book to display in our classroom!! Go P2!
