Plastic Bottle Support!

 41 plastic bottles of water saved for another occasion on Friday thanks to our P1-3 families. We are encouraging families to leave their packed lunch plastic bottle if they don’t need it.

This week our teaching and support staff took part in Restorative Practice training with Marie Prior our Family Support Worker and Laura Clark our Educational Psychologist. This was a really interesting session looking at restoring relationships between pupils after conflict and we were all struck by the many links with the Paul Dix approach to behaviour we are implementing this year of being Ready, Respectful and Safe.

 

Pupil Voice

Some of our pupils took part in a Pupil Focus Group today. We had representatives from across the school looking at Health and Wellbeing in our school community. We used statements and questions from the document How Good is OUR School to help our conversation along – great work everyone – we came up with a small list of actions
