P2 have been busy!
P2 have been busy!
Enjoy the snaps!
Here are the photos of today’s P2 visit. There are lots so keep watching!
A BIG thank you PC Kevin Hughes, lifeboat mechanic Kenny Peters and lifeboat crew man Kevin Keillort. Also thank you to Ben and Beth’s mum Donna for helping out.
Our favourite bit was when Kevin did a roll into the water. Unfortunately, I think it was the only thing I didn’t catch on camera!
I’m sad to say that none of the P2 portraits were chosen for the shortlist of the ‘Draw Your Mum’ competition. I thought they were FANTASTIC! The children put a huge amount of effort into their portraits and the result was detailed and realistic drawings.
However, all of that effort has not gone to waste as mum’s have received a photograph of their child’s beautiful drawing and the great news is……….all of the children’s pictures have gone on show at a special exhibition at Ocean Terminal from today until Sunday. So go and have a look!
You also might be able to see the children’s drawings in the newspaper or the Evening News’ website next week because there were so many entries received.
Well Done P2!
We have been learning to draw a portrait using pencils. We had to remember to use the pencils lightly and to have an egg shaped head.
We have entered the pictures into the Evening News’ ‘Draw Your Mum’ competition. So look in Friday’s Evening News to see if any of the pictures were chosen for the short list and vote for your favourite.
Please enjoy looking at our pictures. Happy Mother’s Day from P2.
P2 have been very busy this week!
On Monday 18th February Amanda Braid from WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) came to our assembly. She told us about why is was important to use a composter, how to compost and what we were allowed to put in our composter.
She had a composter cut in half so we could see what happens inside.
On Thursday 21st February P2 had a drama workshop by Helen O’Grady’s Drama School. As you can see from the slideshow and video we had great fun.
Our next group begins Red Planet this week.
