It was with pleasure that I was able to work last week with Sanderson’s Wynd Primary pupils – from P5 and the Hub.

In the morning the P5 pupils undertaook some orienteering training of their own – specifically looking at sensory deprivation and developing empathy (hence the bucket on the head!) (removing sense of sight).

In the afternoon these pupils then assisted some pupils from the Hub to try their hand and orienteering around their school grounds complete with photographs and objects of reference (chives; daffodils; leaves; water; soil; twigs)

It was great to be able to help all pupils from across the school and to see the P5 pupils paas on their skills and knowledge. More photos and reports here
