James Hogg

After attending school in East Lothian and volunteering for a year at the Outdoor Learning Service James is now studying a degree in Outdoor Education and Learning. In between his studies he is trying to gain as many qualifications for the least money possible (being a student and all that) to complement his degree.

Alongside this James is an enthusiastic DofE supervisor, having completed all three levels of the award himself, climbing coach and paddler. He can often be found swinging about a climbing wall or in the woods somewhere exploring. He also finds time to tag along on our winter skills weekends as a volunteer, in return for a good meal.

His qualifications include:

Level 1 Paddlesport Instructor
Duke of Edinburgh Award Supervisor
Climbing Wall Instructor (CWI)
Lowland Leader Award (LLA)
Cycle Training Assistant (CTA)
Cycle Ride Leader
Introducing orienteering
