Mental Health Training

We all have mental health and our feelings or mood can change constantly as we navigate life’s ups and downs.

1 in 4 people in the UK will be diagnosed with a mental health difficulty.  As many as 1 in 6 of us will struggle with common problems like stress, anxiety or depression each week.  Thankfully as we talk about mental health more openly, we begin to challenge the stigma and fear which can prevent people accessing the help which is available.

Our SQA accredited First Aid for Mental Health courses teach you how to recognise a range of mental health conditions and safely support someone who may be experiencing a mental health emergency.   This could be a colleague at work, a friend or someone in your family. Knowing how to respond to a mental health crisis is just as important as knowing how to do CPR or stop serious bleeding – it could save a life!

Good mental health and wellbeing is one of the most valuable assets an organisation can have.  The Level 6 course is aimed at those who would like to lead or champion mental health support in their workplace or in the community.
