Today we had a special visitor. Melissa came from the SSPCA to tell us all about what they do. We learned that they help any animal in Scotland who is injured or abandoned. We saw some of the equipment that the SSPCA uses to help them catch animals that need their help.

Some Special Visitors…
Today we were very lucky to have not 1 but 2 special visitors. Nicola from Messy Church club and Erica, the new minister at Tranent Parish Church, came to help us act out the story of Noah’s Ark.
Here is a short video clip which shows us making the beautiful rainbow which God sent to Noah as a promise he would never flood the world again.
We had sooo much FUN! We love being active and engaged in our learning. Thank you so much to our special visitor. We can’t wait to have you back!
Musical Afternoon
This afternoon we had some special visitors from a music company called YMI. We had so much fun listening to their performances and we were super excited when we got to join in with a song. We all worked together to produce this amazing sound using percussion instruments.
The whole school was involved but this video just shows us P1/2’s playing along with our instruments……
