We have started to think about out topic for this term. We are going to be learning all about the weather. We have been thinking about what we know and what we want to know….

This week we have been working on our letter writing. We have been doing a GREAT job don’t you think?

I almost cannot believe that is us only just finished our second day of the term in P1/2! I think some children have been sneaking into school over the holidays to practise being in P1…..

We will be getting started with reading in the next few weeks. Until then, if you are looking for something to do at home to practise letters and sounds click here to try a simple game we have been playing in class.

Today we drew pictures of ourselves. We have put them up on the wall in the corridor so that everyone can see who is in P1/2. At the end of the year we will draw a new picture of our self to see how much we have changed!

The brand new P1’s are having a FAB fist day at school.
