Froid et Chaud
P1/2 and P3/4 are continuing to learn French each week with Mrs Scott. Through a variety of games and activities, the children learn many new words and phrases each week.
This is a hide and seek game. One child leaves the room and another child hides a toy. When the child returns and tries to find the toy, the rest of the children call “froid” (cold) or “chaud” (hot) to guide them to finding it. It was a fun and noisy game!
P2,P3 & P4 Christmas Party
P2, P3 and P4 enjoyed their Christmas Party this morning. Every looked very smart in their Christmas party outfits! We played many games including Cinderella, Heads and tails, Musical Bumps, Elimination corners, and a dancing competition. After party food and drink we did a Christmas memory game and finished off with the Hokey Cokey.
Snowmen Treats!
This afternoon P1/2 buddied with P3/4 for Christmas Stories and to make special snowmen treats!
We made the snowmen body out of marshmallows and tied laces around his neck for a scarf. His hat was a chocolate toffee and his feet were chocolate buttons. We used a tube of coloured icing to make the face and the buttons.
