We took several visits to our wildflower garden to observe, draw and write. There were plenty of beautiful flowers and bright colours which attracted many different minibeasts. Each child had a turn with the camera to take close up photos of flowers.  

We used the garden and the photos as an inspiration 
for art and literacy work which is now displayed on the classroom and school walls. These

We wrote words to describe what the wildflower garden  looked  like and what the flowers, plants, leaves and stones felt like.
