CPD Update

Each school cluster has an APODO system which they have access to.  The staff development team have organised two dates where staff are shown how to use this resource.  Further details on the APODO system can be found at www.treeof.com/apodo .  The courses are running on 26 January and 2 February.  The first date is being hosted at North Berwick High School.  Bookings should be made in the usual way.

Business Breakfast – Quayside Musselburgh

Businesses across East Lothian are invited to attend our Business Breakfast being held at the Quayside in Musselburgh on Wednesday 17 January 2007 from 8.30am to 10.00am.

The event will allow you to network with other businesses but will also allow you to find out more about the benefits of businesses and education linking together to help our young people.

Strategic Forum – Parental Members

Your chance to get involved in Determined To Succeed in East Lothian.

We are currently looking for more parental representatives for our Strategic Forum. We meet once per term to discuss and update issues relating to Determined to Succeed. This is a chance for you to find out more about Determined to Succeed in East Lothian and be given a chance to voice your opinion from a parents perspective.

The meetings are held 3 times a year in Haddington and usually last about 2 hours. The date of the next meeting is Tuesday 16 January 2007.
